The meet-up is a friendly, open for all ages, and focused at beginners as well as intermediate learners of RaspberryPi.

The workshop is on how to use PubNub, python, and the Raspberry Pi together to come one step closer to prototyping for IoT. The more technical takeaway for the workshop is as below:

• A glimpse on electronics, components and sensors
• Cool things that one can build with Raspberry Pi
• The ease to stream realtime data from the Pi to a browser

People worked in groups of 3, and the community has provided all the necessary equipment for the workshop. In order to participate in the hands-on, the only equipment that the attendees had to bring were:

  • Power Cable
  • SD Card
  • Ethernet Cable
